Michigan Conservation magazine, 1999:

This was the sad end of the line for the once great Michigan Conservation magazine, and the final issue was published in the April 1999 issue. Privatization had its way, and without DNR support and guidance the magazine couldn't make enough of a profit for the private company to bother with its continuation (or fulfilment of their contract to the State of Michigan).
