Michigan Natural Resources Magazine in 1984:

Russell McKee was editor (one of his best "Bookend" essays ever; equal to those of D.R. Burroughs many years before, appeared in the March-April issue); and he retired following the September-October issue. Norris McDowell returned as acting manager for the November-December issue, Richard Morscheck was managing editor, Gijsbert Van Frankenhuyzen was art editor, John Felsing, Jr. & Leianne Wright; graphics, Janice Kreider & James Purvis; editorial assistant, David Kenyon was photographer, Donna Burt was circulation manager, Glenna Seagall was marketing manager, and additional circulation and production staff credited. This year each issue has a photo and short bio on one or more page(s) for most contributors of content to each issue.

The magazine cost $7.97 per year for a subscription, and was printed by Speaker-Hines & Thomas in Lansing on Mead Northcote paper made in Escanaba.

Circulation of the magazine was 125,000 including 119,000 subscriptions and 2100 newsstand sales, according to the circulation statement in the November-December 1984 issue.
